December 14th 05. At the official web site of Swedish Orienteering Federation, at the list of maior international orienteering events in 2006 you can also find KOPAONIK OPEN.
Our race which will be held on second day of Kopaonik Open 2006 on August 26th , is approved as World Ranking Event (WRE). In 2006 there will be about 90 races in whole world for WRE where competitors could obtain points for IOF World Ranking List.
Last issue of international orienteering magazine “Orienteering Today” publish two pages story about Kopaonik Open 2005.
“Istanbul 5 Days “ international orienteering event is finished. Among more then 200 competitors from countries, 35 Serbian competitors took part, and 9 members of OK Jasenica. The best results in our team were Tadija Trifunovic (1st place M14), Maja Karic (1st place in W14), Aleksandra Jelic (2nd place in W14) and Maja Cosic (3rd place in W12).

Today we received entry from best Bulgarian competitor – Kiril Nikolov M21E, who is coming right after the World Orienteering Championship in Japan , where he was at the 15 th place on long distance! Kiril Nikolov is IOF World Ranking placed on 86. Follow daily results at our web pages!

KOPAONIK OPEN 2005 Untill today we received entries from 17 European countries, over 300 competitors from 63 clubs. Let us remind you that few days left untill deadline for entries. Untill today we have received entries from 13 countries, and we expect big competition in Elite classes where Michal Smola (CZE) ranked 75 and probably Jan Troeng (SWE) ranked 88 at the IOF World Ranking List, will lead others in »fight« for new World Ranking points. Bulletin nr.3, start lists etc will be publish on August 10 th .

35 Days to the start of “KOPAONIK OPEN 2005”. Untill today, we received more then 200 entries from Austria , Czech Republic , Slovenia , Hungary , Holand , Bulgaria , Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro . According to the preliminary entries, we expect more then 500 competitors from 15 European countries. Most interesting will be races in women and men elite classes, where third day will be count as a World Ranking Event.

july 16th 2004 375 competitors, 42 clubs, 4 National Teams from Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro, as well as competitors from Finland, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Ukraina,Turkey and Serbia ana Montenegro, allready entered till today for the 3 WREs KOPAONIK OPEN and BALKAN CHAMPIONSHIP. Competitions will be held on August 18-22 nd 2004., but deadline for entries is July 29 th 2004. We expect more than 700 competitors from 20 Europien countries. March 14 th 2004. – The best participants of School for orienteering OK Jasenica with their leader Miodrag Radisavljevic, on Mikulja training center after Spring championship which was also last test. All of them are registered for new orienteering season, so our team OK Jasenica will have now several young competitors. First competitions are allready wait for them at the end of March on Avala and Strazilovo.
