The club was founded in Palanka in 1948, and was called Mountaineering and Skiing club “Jasenica”. From then until now several hundred projects have been organized that gathered more than 5000 members. In the 1970s the Group for orienteering was founded and has been very successful over the years. By the end of the 1997, the structure of the club has been transformed and now Sport Association “Jasenica” consists of mountaineering, orienteering and ski clubs. The main activities are sports in the nature. The members are people who love nature and they are from Palanka and from other towns and countries.

In year 2003. we will celebrate 55.Anniversary.
